Junior Camp
For campers entering Junior Kindergarten through 1st Grade
Extremely low camper to staff ratios — the best in camping! Campers receive music, drama, dance, yoga, sports, and arts and crafts as a part of their camp experience. The week culminates on a Friday afternoon with a tradition that dates back to the beginning, Fred’s Fabulous Franks and Fred’s Camp Themed activities.

Superheroes to the rescue!
There are so many ways to explore, create, wonder, and grow nestled in the heart of Lincoln Park with access to DePaul University’s inter-collegiate facilities (inside and outside).
Our smallest campers have the opportunity to play big by participating in Fred’s Camp traditions that have delighted campers since 1994: Theme Days, Carnival, Color War, Sports Clinics, Olympics, Scavenger Hunts, Pirate Attack, Game-Shows…and much more. Throughout the summer, Kindergarten and 1st Grade groups are greeted by local entertainers who bring their magic, juggling and comedy to campers.
