Our Junior Camp is designed to give our youngest campers a fun, welcoming, and age-appropriate introduction to everything that makes summer camp special. With small groups and low camper-to-counselor ratios, our campers receive plenty of attention and support as they make friends, try new activities, build confidence, and become more independent throughout the summer.
Each day brings something different. Campers swim, play sports, create art, sing, dance, practice yoga, explore music and drama, play games, and enjoy plenty of time to simply run around and have fun.

Little Campers. Big Summer Fun.
There are so many ways to explore, create, wonder, and grow nestled in the heart of Lincoln Park with access to DePaul University’s inter-collegiate facilities (inside and outside).
Our smallest campers have the opportunity to play big by participating in Fred’s Camp traditions that have delighted campers since 1994: Theme Days, Carnival, Color War, Sports Clinics, Olympics, Scavenger Hunts, Pirate Attack, Game-Shows…and much more. Throughout the summer, Kindergarten and 1st Grade groups are greeted by local entertainers who bring their magic, juggling and comedy to campers.
