Senior Camp
For campers entering 2nd through 4th Grades

Senior Camp takes the Fred’s Camp experience to the next level. Designed for older campers who are ready for more independence, variety, and adventure, each week combines sports, swimming, creative activities, team challenges, field trips, and all the traditions that make summer at Fred’s Camp special.

Senior Campers also enjoy age-appropriate sports and friendly competition, team-building activities, creative opportunities, and a minimum of four swim periods each week. Field trips, special events, and camp-wide traditions add even more variety and give campers something new to look forward to throughout the summer.

Just as important, Senior Camp is a place to spend the summer with friends, make new ones, try something different, and enjoy a little more freedom and independence as they grow.

Campers are led by the finest camp professionals in the business. The daily centerpiece for our senior campers includes team building, sports, art, and traditions that date back to 1994! There are a minimum of four swim periods per week. In addition to field trips that will surely make a splash. Fred’s Campers also enjoy athletic excitement with enhanced age appropriate sports and competition.

A Little Friendly Competition

Friendly competition is a big part of the Senior Camp experience. Throughout the summer, groups compete for bragging rights in our weekly Cup Challenge, taking on games, challenges, and competitions that bring out plenty of teamwork, group spirit, and camp pride.

And some traditions are simply part of being a Fred’s Camper. Color Wars, Olympic Games, camp-wide competitions, and other Fred’s Camp favorites have been bringing campers together since 1994. The competition is fun, the bragging rights are real, and the memories last well beyond the final whistle.

Fred’s Camp Interest Groups

Choose Your Own Adventure

As campers get older, having more choice becomes an important part of the Fred’s Camp experience. Our Interest Groups give Senior Campers the opportunity to choose activities based on what they enjoy most—or try something completely new.

Twice each week, campers spend 60–90 minutes participating in activities they select themselves. From sports and creative activities to games, challenges, and new experiences, Interest Groups give campers the freedom to shape part of their own camp day.

It’s more than just choosing an activity. Giving campers a voice in how they spend their time helps build independence, confidence, and decision-making skills—all while letting them do more of what they love.
